Their food is excellent, their atmosphere small town in an outgoing manner. With my first visit, I was soon involved in a cordial and neighborly discussion about life in this town. The guidance on what I would enjoy resulted in an excellent meal, great coffee and a delightful interaction with staff and customers. My quest for hot spicy sauce was satisfied with their special red sauce. ”

“ This place is a hidden gem. Clean with a very homey, vibe, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. We ordered the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito which comes standard with beans and rice all wrapped in a delicious tortilla that was tender and tasty but sturdy enough to hold all the filling without breaking open. We also ordered the chicken sandwiches to eat later on a picnic hike we were about to embark on. Those were a pretty standard chicken sandwich, nothing fancy (cooked chicken, tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo), but they still hit the spot. ”

“ The best menudo around!!! Omgosh I had it in June when my cousin was visiting from out of town and I couldn’t get it off my mind. I traveled 25 minutes to have some. Reminds me of my grandmother’s menudo...nice cuts of tripe, the perfect amount of hominy, and NOT greasy. They will give you a pata if you want one. I’ll be back and they are dog friendly ”
